I have a 99 740i. Recently the timing chain guide rail broke so I pulled the timing covers off and replace all of the guide pieces on the lower timing chain (making sure that the timing chain stayed in position by binding it with tie wraps).

After getting everything back together the car is running really rough and I'm getting these error codes:

My indy is telling me that the timing is off, but I'm wondering if there is something I can look at on my VANOS system. Any suggestions?
