Get 4.27 differential(from 91 and up models) and perfomence chip (Dinan is good) and then save up your money to get turbo. IMO these are cost-effective upgrades, rest will be in the bullpark of 1-2K$ per 1 hp.

Intake/exhaust upgrades are worthwhile on 750 but on 735 they will give you at most 1-2hp boost. Again IMO for 735i intake and exhaust are not limiting factors for 735s, I personally took my muffler, cat and air filter off and did not notice any difference in perfomance when I took it for a spin around block so I put them back on and drive with stock ever since then. Reading boards different people pretty much confirmed my opinion, only they spent big buck to reach the same conclusion.
